Earl Swiney 76, passed peacefully from this earth on February 6, 2023. A memorial service was held for Mr. Swiney on Wednesday, February 8, 2023, at 3:00PM at Carbon Hill Church of God. Brother Johnny Sims officiated. Mr. Swiney loved to cook, watch westerns, his animals but most importantly spending time with his family and grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Emma and Simon Swiney; children, Jimmy Dye and Joseph Dye; siblings, Lloyd Swiney and Vicky Kinney. He is survived by his wife, Kathy Swiney; children, Earl Swiney (Tammy), Joe Swiney (Beth), Master Sgt., Donald Swiney (Leslie); grandchildren, Dylan Starnes (Maci Gibson), Earl Swiney III, Maleah Swiney, Hailey Swiney, Zachary Swiney, Alaina Swiney, Caitlin Swiney, Quinn Swiney, Joseph Dye Jr., Tanya Cagle, Christy Dye, Karly Ortiz and Kory Ortiz; great grandchildren, Gibson Starnes and Charlotte Starnes; special friends, Anthony McCurry, Carlie Aldridge, and a host of other relatives and dear friends.
