Myra Dean Minor Lane, Jasper, AL September 23, 1939 – October 12, 2021 The angels gently carried Myra Lane to her heavenly home on October 12, 2021, at the age of 82. She was the devoted wife of 64 years to the love of her life, A. G. (Bud) Lane, Jr.; the loving mother of Pam (Larry) Robinson, Toni (Joel) Franklin, and Penny (Billy) Davidson; the proud grandmother of Kim (Jacob) Elliott, Matt (Holly) Robinson, Emily (Allen) Burns, Millie (Leathan) Waid, and Mollie (Kody) Bradford; and the great-grandmother of Reece and Owen Robinson, Ethan Edmondson, Ella Burns, Lawston Waid, and Barrett Bradford. She is also survived by her sister, Millie (James) Harland, a host of nieces and nephews and multitude of friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Garvie Eugene Minor and Blanche Mae Hicks Minor, her brother, Doyle Minor, and sister, Ruby Earnest. The family would like to thank all her doctors and nurses who provided exceptional care over the years, and a special thanks to the staff of Southern Care New Beacon Hospice. She was a long-time member of Cordova Church of Christ. She enjoyed spending time with her family, camping and fishing. She was the life of the party and the glue that held this family together. Although she will be missed beyond measure, we know this separation is only temporary. Family will receive friends at Sixth Avenue Church of Christ in Jasper, Alabama, On October 23, 2021, from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. with a memorial service in her Honor celebrating her life at 2 p.m. Levi Sides will officiate.
