Jennie Maria Kimbrell Jones passed away on April 12, 2025, in Jasper, Alabama, at the age of 66. Born on March 11, 1959, Jennie graduated from West Birmingham Christian School in 1977. Her deep love for animals was a defining part of her life, especially the special bond she shared with her beloved horses and dogs—Bear, Chloe, and Babe. Jennie was preceded in death by her husband, James Paul Jones Jr.; her father, Raymond Kimbrell; and her grandsons Jacob Alexander Stockman, Luke Alexander Stockman, and Skylar Jordan Woods. She is survived by her daughter, Victoria Lee Woods (Michael); Mother Eleanor JoAn Wade Kimbrell Gurganus; sisters Janice Kimbrell Gosnell (Doug), Rebecca Kimbrell (Andrew Parker); Step Brothers Mike Gurganus(Kate), Rob Gurganus(Emily); grandsons Ashton Kobe Woods and Kaden Isaiah Woods; as well as a host of Aunts, Uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. May her memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved her.
