Henry Frank Norris passed away on March 21, 2025, at the age of 83. He was preceded in death by his father, Harley Norris; mother, Biddie Kell Norris; brother, Junior Norris; and sisters, Louise Upton, Gladys Hudson, and Hazel Skinner. He is survived by numerous nieces and nephews, cherished friends, and the many young athletes he coached over the years. His influence extended far beyond the field, as he became a mentor and role model to countless children who admired and respected him. Henry dedicated several years to coaching baseball and football, leaving a lasting impact on the lives of many young athletes. His passion for guiding and inspiring others was evident in everything he did. Beyond sports, he was a man of deep faith who found great joy in ministering to others about his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. One of his favorite sayings was, "Christians never say their last goodbye," a sentiment that reflected his unwavering belief in eternal life. Services will be held on Tuesday, March 25, at Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will take place from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., followed by the funeral service at 2:00 p.m., officiated by Jerry Boyd. Henry will be laid to rest at Crossroads Methodist Church on Highway 5. His legacy of faith, mentorship, and kindness will continue to live on in the hearts of those he touched.
