Mrs. Martha Ruth Bryant Warren, age 78, of Carbon Hill, Alabama, passed away Monday, February 10, 2025, at the University of Alabama St. Vincent Hospital. She was born June 12, 1946, in Ripley, Mississippi, to Lester and Tommye Bryant of Blue Mountain, Mississippi. Martha is survived by two sons, John Paul Warren and John Daniel Warren, both of Carbon Hill, Alabama; two grandsons, Braxton Warren and Brayden Warren; one granddaughter, Brook Warren Lee; and one great-grandson, Braylon Warren; one brother, Dalton Bryant (Wanda) of Ripley, MS; two sisters, Connie Butler (Tim) of Chattanooga, TN, and Rhonda Jackson of Blue Mountain, MS. Martha was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 44 years, John Edmond Warren; a daughter-in-law, Susie Warren; three brothers, Ray Bryant, Rickey Bryant, Sr., and Bobby Bryant; and a sister, Shirley Greer. S‍he was a member of Cedrum Grove Free Will Baptist Church and a homemaker. Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Thursday, February 13th at Cedrum Grove Freewill Baptist Church in Carbon Hill. The Celebration of Life service will follow at 1:00 PM, with Bro. Darryl Gurganus officiating. Burial will follow in the Cedrum Grove Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery in Carbon Hill. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Gideons International.
