Jesse Wayne Key, age 40, passed away January 27th, 2025 at his home in Jasper, AL.

He was born November 4th, 1984.

Jesse was a devoted father to his only child, Jesse Cole Key.

He is survived by his grandfather, Roy Tubbs, cousins, Christie and Jason White and their children, R. J. and Drew, and grandson Tobi, nephew Cayden Key, uncles Billy Key, Kenneth and Dennis Tubbs, and Greg Tidwell .

Jesse was preceded in death by his parents, Jerry and Phyllis Key, brother Sean Key, aunt and uncle Betty and Robert Sumner, and their son, Robby, aunt Zandra Tubbs, and uncle James Key. Grandparents were Homer and Mildred Key and Emmalee Tubbs.

He was an active member of Faith Freewill Baptist Church.

A celebration of life will be held at his church on Saturday February 01, 2025 at 2:00 PM. In leiu of flowers, family ask that donations be made to Faith Freewill Baptist Church.
