Mr. Danny Ray Mays, 73, of Bankston, Alabama passed away June 30, 2024 at his residence. A visitation will be held Wednesday July 3, 2024 from 6:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at the Bob Wilson Memorial Chapel, funeral service will be held at 7:00 P.M. in the Chapel. Burial to follow Friday July 5, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. in the Shiloh Cemetery, Kansas, Alabama.

Mr. Mays is preceded in death by, his parents, Cordell and Janice Mays, one brother Jerry Mays.

He is survived by, his wife Sharon Smith Mays, 2 sons Chris Mays, Tim Mays (Kandy); 2 grandsons, Cody Mays,(Megan); Zack Mays (Katie); 2 great grandchildren,  Easton and Hudson Mays, 2 Sister's Delinda Taylor (Joe); and Betty Hughes, one step son Shannon Smith (Angel); 2 step grandchildren,  Tori Hall,(Nate); Aaron Taylor,(Faith); 3 step great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and dear friends.
