Valerie was a devoted member of Cedrum Grove Free Will Baptist Church in Carbon Hill, where she was passionate in serving the Lord. She shared her love for praising the Lord through song, touching the hearts of many with her voice. The last special she sang was, "He Looked Beyond My Faults and Saw My Needs".
