Mary Ennis, age 74, of Sumiton, passed away on March 6, 2024, in Jasper, Ala. She was born in Staten Island, New York, on September 11, 1949. Mary was a good mother, grandmother, and a caring individual. She had a warm smile for everyone she met, offering encouragement and love to all.

Mary is survived by her daughter, Natalie Kinard (Christopher), granddaughter Novalee Kinard, grandson Copeland Kinard, sister Martha Scuria, and brother John Ennis. She was preceded in death by her son, Reggie Hudson.

Mary attended Taft High School in Riverside, California, and later pursued higher education at Pierce College in Woodland Hills, California. She enjoyed painting and reading in her spare time.

No memorial services are planned at this time. Wilson Funeral Home & On-Site Crematory LLC in Carbon Hill, AL, is assisting the family with the arrangements.
