Mr. Dennis H. Jenkins of Carbon Hill, Alabama was born on October 4, 1953 to Elbert and Mary Jenkins. He left us on December 21, 2023, at the age of 70, surrounded by his loving family. During his lifetime, when he was young, Dennis was the life of the party. For the last couple of years his health had declined, but he could still crack a clean joke. Dennis was a hard worker. His last employment was with The Drummond Company. Dennis leaves to mourn for him, his wife of 53 years, Darlene Jenkins; his adopted children, Salena Gray (Joel) and Zeb Jenkins (Stephanie) and his sister, Faye Jenkins. He loved his grandchildren, Alexis Sellers (Dustin) and Isbell Jenkins (Colten). His precious great-grands are Oliver Sellers, Millie Sellers, Weston Gray, Lucas Gray, Josie Gray and Callie Jenkins. Dennis was preceded in death by his parents, Elbert and Mary Jenkins; sons, Jeremy Jenkins and Jamie Jenkins; brother, Cecil Jenkins; grandparents, Byrum and Maggie McClain and Isom and Emma Jenkins. A memorial graveside service will be held for Mr. Jenkins at 11:00am, December 28, 2023 at Carbon Hill Memorial Gardens.
