Mr. Ronald Ken Mallett “Ronnie”, passed away at his residence, surrounded by his family on Sunday, June 11, 2023 at the age of 59. Ronnie was a kind, caring, and gentle man. You could really see the light in his eyes. He loved life, his family and The Lord and he will be missed by all who knew him. Funeral services will take place at Manchester Independent Church of God on Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at 3:00pm. A visitation will be held in The Church from 2:00pm until service time. Burial will follow at Bennett Cemetery in Jasper, AL He was preceded in death by his father, Winfred Mallett and Step Mom, Faye Mallett; brother, Johnny Lynn Mallett; paternal grandparents, Lloyd and Marie Mallett; maternal grandparents, Blan and Shirley Robbins; and great grandparents, Walter and Nodie Whitfield (MaMa & Papa Whit). Ronnie is survived by his dream, Kay Hernandez; mother, Brenda McBryde (Charles McBryde); children, Cheyenne (Brian), Brittney, Ronnie Jr. and Justin; grandchildren, Savannah, Bryson, Destiny, Adam and Noah; siblings, Vicki Key (David), Chad Mallett, Melissa Chambers; special nephews, Devin and Harley; mother in love, Verlie Stewart; sister in love, Vickey Johnston (Rolan); an extended Church family who made a great impact on his life at Manchester Independent Church of God and a host of other nieces, nephews, family and friends.
